The step-well is believed to have originally been built by the legendary King Agrasen and later rebuilt during the Tughlaq period in the 14th century. The structure descends in three tiers, with rows of arched alcoves lining both sides — creating a dramatic, symmetrical corridor that leads down to the water.
The baoli is also shrouded in local legends and has been featured in several Bollywood films, making it a must-visit for both history enthusiasts and photography lovers.
