Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi

Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India and is considered one of the largest presidential residences in the world.

The building was designed by British architect Edwin Lutyens and is a wonderful confluence of Indian and British architecture.

Choose your Delhi visit separately: the Main Building, Museum and Amrit Udyan have different entrances and schedules. A garden visit is not an indoor building tour.

Main Building: Tuesday–Sunday, 9:30 am–4:30 pm, by booked slot. Entry closes at 4 pm. Use Gate 38 near North Avenue, Church Road–Brassy Avenue.

Museum: Tuesday–Sunday, 9:30 am–5 pm, by booked slot. Entry closes at 4 pm. Use Gate 30, Mother Teresa Crescent Road.

Amrit Udyan: Seasonal Udyan Utsav openings, generally February–March and August–September; Tuesday–Sunday, 10 am–6 pm, last entry 5 pm. Use Gate 35, Church Road–Brassy Avenue. Check announced dates.

Monday, gazetted-holiday and notified closures apply. Availability on the booking portal controls your visit.

Tell your driver the circuit and entry gate from your booking confirmation. These entrances are different; arriving at the estate's main frontage does not establish visitor access. Check your route before leaving.
