Overview
Pragati Maidan is India's largest exhibition and convention complex, managed by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO). Located in central Delhi near India Gate, it has recently been redeveloped into the Bharat Mandapam — a world-class convention center that hosted the G20 Summit in 2023.
The complex hosts hundreds of trade fairs, exhibitions, and events throughout the year, including the internationally renowned India International Trade Fair (IITF) every November.
Originally designed in the 1970s, Pragati Maidan has been completely redeveloped. The new Bharat Mandapam, inaugurated in 2023, is a state-of-the-art convention center with a capacity for 7,000 delegates. It became globally famous as the venue for India's G20 Presidency Summit.
