Connaught Place is often called the heart of Delhi. Central Park becomes a major attraction during evenings and weekends.
For shopping, Janpath Market, Palika Bazaar and several international brands are located within walking distance.
Connaught Place works best with a specific purpose: a meal, a shopping shortlist, a meeting or an onward Metro journey. Save the block and full address of your destination instead of relying on the neighbourhood name alone. Choose a meeting point before splitting up, and distinguish outdoor public areas from individual businesses with their own hours and prices.
